Deze groepstentoonstelling vormt het tweede deel van The Hand Follows the Mind en richt zich op werken op — en van — papier. Zelfs karton krijgt hierin een prominente plaats.
Papier is voor veel kunstenaars een uitnodiging tot vrijheid. Het is toegankelijk, direct, en laat toe om snel te reageren op een gedachte of impuls. Met materialen als olieverf, potlood of krijt krijgt een idee haast onmiddellijk vorm. Elke lijn, elke plooi of afdruk getuigt van een moment van denken én doen.

This group exhibition forms the second part of The Hand Follows the Mind and focuses on works on — and made of — paper. Even cardboard takes on a prominent role.
For many artists, paper is an invitation to freedom. It is accessible, immediate, and allows for a quick response to a thought or impulse. With materials such as oil paint, pencil or chalk, an idea can take shape almost instantly. Every line, every crease or impression bears witness to a moment of thought and action.
