MARC ANGELI. JEAN-GEORGES MASSART. JOHAN PARMENTIER. ALEXANDRA ROOZEN., INNER NATURE 2. SILENCE.LIGHT.

Through the exhibition “Silence.Light.” the artist’s endeavour is to make the pavilion come to life in a poetic manner, by seemingly choosing to make that which is absent visible. This is achieved by employing lines or colours, stone or wood, solid or soft, in sculptural installations or on paper. Every expression and every movement have their own ‘raison d’être’ simultaneously representing an interaction, a friction between the different works.

The works of art establish a connection with the emptiness, the silence that disappears and appears between, underneath or behind it. The spectator becomes aware of time and space through a conceptual image.

The exhibition brings together four different facets of visual expression: the subtle presence of colour, the curved branch, the traces in stone or bronze, or the scratching of a pencil. The embracing of space is visualised by connecting inside and outside, by intimating the silence, brittle and palpable.
